Dindori Bags Digital India Award

District Dindori was awarded as the 3rd best performing district in MP in the Digital India Week observed from July 1 to 7 of year 2015, as identified by Department of Electronic and Information Technology under the Union Ministry of Communication and IT.

Representatives from the District Administration received the award from Union Minister of Communication and IT Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad in a function organized to mark the ‘Good Governance Day’ on 28th December 2015 at Stein Auditorium in New Delhi.

Digital India is a programme of the Central Government to minimize the gap between the government departments and the common people. District administration, Dindori had organized various programmes at the district level as part of the celebration. This included the launch of e-Registry at District Registrar Office, Quiz Competitions were organized for raising awareness for digital literacy and Workshops were organized to brief the Officials in different departments about the core infrastructural components of Digital India Initiative.
