District Informatics Centre (DIC) at Dindori was established in 15th of January 1999. Since the establishment of NIC District Centre, tremendous growth has been witnessed in the field of
Information and Communication Technology thereby improving the accessibility and delivery of various government services to the citizens.
The DIC is equipped with the State-of-the-art infrastructure comprising a dedicated 34 Mbps leased line NICNET connectivity which is extended to various State Government departments for the implementation of various e-Governance projects.

Video Conferencing Facility: Video Conferencing facility available in the NIC District centre, plays an critical role in monitoring deparmental and various projects activity. It facilitates the District Administration to interact with State Headquarters on daily basis in a effective and seamless manner.
Capacity Building: DIC has been extending the support to the Central & State Government departments in the district by stimulating IT awarenesss, IT skill development. Training programmes are being conducted on regular basis, to provide the users with basic understanding of the e-governace application being implemented in their departments.
Samagra Portal: All people and families in the District and their details are being registered on Samagra Portal. SAMAGRA Portal is an innovative e-Governance initiative of NIC and MP SSSM for the effective implementation of Madhya Pradesh Integrated Social Security Program for Proactive, Responsive and Transparent Governance. For this, an intensive campaign has been implemented in all urban and rural bodies to register families and their members. Gram Rozgar Sahayak’s in rural areas and ward in-charges in urban areas have been appointed as registrars, who will be responsible for registration, updation and deletion of families on Samagra portal.
MGNREGA: MGNREGA(Mahantma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) Management Information System installed at Zila Panchayat & all block level in Server-Client environment. The blockwise data entry of registrations, demands, work details, work allocation, muster roll detail, financial details etc. is compiled and uploaded at NIC Server. The same data made available online on the NREGA website i.e. www.nrega.nic.in.
AGMARKNET: NICNET based "Agricultural Marketing Information System Network" (AGMARKNET) has been successfully implemented in the Dindori District. DIC has helped the District Mandis to migrate from the pld Offline version of Agmarknet to the new updated Online AGMARKNET portal and trained them about the same.
IVFRT: In order to Modernize and upgrade the Immigration services, the FRO module of “Immigration, Visa and Foreigners Registration & Tracking (IVFRT)” has been implemented at the district level. User has also been trained about the technicalities of the project.
NADRS: A central project in which Block level Animal Husbandry offices have been taken and hardware for the project has been installed. Online reporting of the Animal Disease outbreaks is being done through this system and thus improving the quality of Information system generated by the Block Offices.
11 Points(PARAKH) Eleven points programme is an ambitious programme of Madhya Pradesh Government for monitoring the working efficiency of 11 department directly linked with common man for providing the basic facilities like water, electricity, medical, education etc, operational with the technical support of NIC. Under the scheme the appointed nodal officers visit the villages and collect data in the prescribed formats. This software is implemented at all the Five Blocks, they will enter the data received from the field and transmit it to NIC Dindori, here its compiled and transmitted to state head quarters.
Networking Support: DIC, Dindori is also extending the facilities of NICNET to the State Government departments at District Collectorate, Dindori through Ethernet LAN Network. The departments are using this facility to use their departmental portals and Management Information Systems.
